It’s just so wild how well crafted the music from these sessions is. This guitar solo is in the same tier as Corey’s Lingus solo and basically everything Larnell does. That’s not to undersell Michael’s compositions or any of the other performers’ work, but Lettieri put on a guitar clinic in this one.

Had the fantastic honor to be at the album release in bangalore , it was just ,2 hrs of transportation, oh dear , Varijashree , kudos to you and your fantastic gems as you cslled . You have arrived in style ....no doubt dear. Brilliant song , and the entire album is just a world out. More than exceptional talent it has fantastic grounding, to the roots , be it music , culture , language or in short , being true to your samskriti. Alternate genre , dont know if this is what is , but this is surely your own genre , VARIJA genre . Its a milestone in kannada music. Raghu dixit , picked up a vibe made it wide and deep in his own way, set a trend and you have pushed it to a far beyond height . God bless you all.

Larnell once said in an interview, that he hung onto dear life during that solo, and me also being a drummer, this is one of the best feelings: you sort of have the role of guiding the whole band and energy to match the solo and god forbid to not fuck up big enough to destroy solos like that. so basically your not in the spotlight but you drive everything behind it and man, did he do a great job there.

Can't get the trumpet/sax/clarinet riffs out of my head. Together with that climatic groove it's a superb composition.

I'm back again. Can't get enough of this song/video. I've introduced it to other folks who are just as amazed as me. And have fallen in love with it. The only sad part is that I can't experience that first time hearing it again.

Justin's decision to land on that FMajor at the end. Freakin Fantastic. He's such a great keys and trumpet player, and an excellent writer. The way he writes is specifically tailored to fascinate instrumentalists and still sound entertaining to a general listener. I mean, the choice of chords, the tightness of the kick and bass, and where everything is placed within the groove form such a solid foundation for Bob Reynolds' solo, even just that part of this song alone, grips me everytime, and makes me sooo happy to be a musician
